Dear Town of Winfield Resident:

As many of you know, the Town of Winfield has completed a dog enumeration required by the State of New York. During this process, the enumerator either talked to you or left a slip at your residence stating that a dog was harbored at this address.

Under the Local Law # of the Town of Winfield, dogs residing in the Town must have a current license and rabies certificate. Some of you have licensed your dogs during the enumeration process and we thank you.

The residents that have not licensed their dogs are now being asked to do so. A current rabies certificate must be presented at the time of licensing. Enclosed please find a list of the Herkimer Co. Rabies Clinics. Some will be convenient, and others will not and we realize this. The dog(s) must be licensed within the next 30 days. According to the Dog Law, all dogs shall be licensed and be current on rabies.

To license your dog, please send the rabies certificate, spay/neuter certificate if it is not designated on your rabies certificate and your check in the amount of $10.00 for spayed/neutered or $18.00 if not to:
