Trash Days
The Town hosts a semi-annual trash day for property owners in the Village, Town, and their tenants living in the Village or Town. This enables folks to properly discard large items such as furniture, appliances, electronics, hard plastics, and tires. It does not include green waste, textiles or what would be considered food type garbage. There is a charge for tires, generally about $5 for each one, depending on tire size. There is also a fee for freon appliances.

The usual dates are the last Saturday in April and September, starting at 8 A.M. and concluding at 11 A.M. The dates will be posted in our official newspaper, the West Winfield STAR.

Our next Trash Day is scheduled for September 27, 2025.  Between 8 AM – 11 AM 

Across from the Town Barn at 306 Stone Road

Paper shredding will be offered.

No household garbage will be accepted.

Trash Day is for residents of the Village of West Winfield & Town of Winfield only. 

Please bring proof of residency – ex. Tax Bill
